I know someone whose main way to decide whether someone is posh or not is whether they get out of the shower to pee.
Who knows how he will now classify Brazilians? A new ad campaign is encouraging them to urinate in the shower in order to save water. If every household did this just once a day, it would apparently save each one nearly 5,000 litres of water a year.
While I’m not necessarily advocating this as a way of life, it has always seemed strange to me that we use drinkable water to wash in and to flush our loos. It is only cats and dogs that drink out of them, after all…
